Edgar Quero swatted three hits in four trips to the plate and also knocked two runs, but the White Sox fell to the Houston Astros 4-3. The Cuban catcher saw his average rise to .263 on the campaign.
Miguel Vargas also got in on the act with three hits and two runs scored on the evening. The infielder from Havana is slashing .273/.385/.591/.976 over his last seven games.
