Yandy Díaz collected two hits in four trips to the plate including a fourth inning two-run bomb to do his part in Tampa’s 11-3 thrashing of the Orioles. The infielder who hits .444 in the last 15 games has now driven in 47 on runs on the season.
Although the Mariners fell to the Rangers by a 3-2 count Randy Arozarena swatted two hits and drove in a run during his three at-bats. The outfielder saw his average rise to .238 and has knocked in 33 runs on the campaign.
Adrián Morejón notched his 10th hold of the season after tossing a scoreless inning in the Padres 6-4 triumph over the Reds. The left-hander now sports a 1.98 on the season. Morejón has a great case for the All-Star Game after a spectacular first half.
