Adrián Morejón continues to make a case for being the most dominant left-handed reliever in the game. In tonight’s action the hurler picked up his sixth win of the season after tossing ⅓ of an inning and striking out a batter during the Padres 1-0 shutout of Arizona. Morejón now sports a miniscule 1.79 ERA on the season.

Romy González continues to swing a hot bat. During the Red Sox’s 10-2 thrashing of the Rockies the utilityman swatted three hits, knocked in a run and scored twice. The Cuban-American infielder is hitting a robust .462 over his last seven games and has now knocked in 26 runs on the season.

Adolis García collected a hit in three trips to the plate and scored twice to do his part in Texas’ 13-1 win over the Angels. The slugger from Ciego de Ávila, Cuba has now scored 30 times and hits .229 on the campaign. Although he isn’t hitting for a higher average he is driven 50 runs on the year.
