Yadir Drake swatted his 100th career homerun in the Liga Mexicana de Béisbol, a grand slam during Yucatán’s 12-10 win over León. In total the slugger knocked in five runs and saw his average rise to a gaudy .385 on the season.
Yurisbel Gracial and Henry Urrutia both went yard thus combining for all five of the Conspiradores de Querétaro’s loss by a count of 8-5 to the Diablos Rojos de México City in the first game of a twin billing. For Urrutia it was his tenth homer of the season and for Gracial it was his ninth longball on the campaign.
During the second game Gracial swatted two homeruns and drove in five runs in Querétaro’s 7-0 blanking of the defending league champions. The Cuban slugger now hits a robust .367 and has knocked in 35 runs on the campaign.
