Adolis García launched his 11th homer of the season, a two-run eighth inning blast during the Rangers 11-4 win over the Angels. The slugger from Ciego de Ávila, Cuba who drove in three runs on the day now has 53 runs batted in on the campaign.
In a loss for the Angels Cuban-American Zach Neto connected on his 14th longball of the season. Neto, who also scores twice on the evening watched his average rise to .273 on the season.
