Edgar Quero swatted his third homerun of the season, a three-run seventh inning blast during the White Sox’s 9-3 victory over the Phillies. The catcher is now hitting a solid .280 in his rookie season in the majors.
Miguel Vargas also got into the act with his own three-run homer for the White Sox in that same seventh inning. For the infielder it was his 13th longball of the season to go along with 44 runs batted in. Vargas also now has 100 runs batted in for his career.
