Dayán Viciedo went 2-for-4 with two singles, a homerun and an RBI to contribute to the DeNA Stars’ 5-4, 12-inning victory over the Chunichi Dragons at Vantelin Dome in Nagoya. The first baseman, who became the 48th player in history to hit at least one home run against all NPB teams.
Viciedo raised his average to .296 and his RBI total to three on the season. Over his 10 NPB seasons Viciedo slashes .287/.352/.459/.811 with 139 homeruns and 551 RBIs with the Chunichi Dragons and the DeNA BayStars.
Liván Moinelo did not factor in the decision after allowing just three hits in seven scoreless innings of work in the SoftBank Hawks’ 1-0 win over the Lotte Mariners at the Mizuho PayPay Dome in Fukuoka. The left-hander who struck out 10 batters in the game, lowered his ERA to 1.13 which leads the Pacific League division in that statistical category.
