Johan Oviedo tossed five innings of three-hit, two-run ball to notch his second triumph of the season during the Pirates 10-3 win over Boston. The right-hander also fanned six batters on the evening and saw his ERA descend to 3.60 on the campaign.

Romy González also collected two hits and knocked in two runs during four trips to the plate in a Red Sox loss to see his average rise to .294 on the season. The Cuban-American infielder has now driven in 42 runs on the year.

Adrián Morejón notched his 11th of the season after pitching a scoreless inning in relief during San Diego’s 12-3 thrashing of the Twins. The left-hander also has 18 holds and three saves to go along with a sterling 1.75 earned run average.
