Aroldis Chapman notches his 27th save in a Bosox win. (+Cuban MLB Report)

Aroldis Chapman notched his 27th save of the season and the 362nd of his career to helped secure Boston’s 5-2 win over the Pirates. The left-hander now sports a miniscule 1.02 earned run average on the season.

Cesar Prieto collected his first MLB hit after beating out a ground ball in the top of the ninth inning during the Cardinals ‘ 7-4 loss to Cincinnati. The infielder saw his average rise to .200 on the campaign.

Randy Arozarena swatted his 26th homerun of the season, a two-run shot in five at-bats that led the Mariners to a 4-2 victory over Cleveland. The outfielder is now hitting .242 and also leads all Cubans in homeruns this season.

Raisel Iglesias saved his 23rd game of the year after throwing a scoreless inning in which he struck out two of three batters he faced  to secure Atlanta’s 3-1 triumph over the Phillies. The native of the Isle of Youth now has 2.70 earned run average and 12 saves since the All-Star break.
