Aroldis Chapman tossed a scoreless ninth inning to help secure a Red Sox’s 4-1 win over the Bluejays. The Cuban left-hander saw his earned run average fall to 1.19 on the season and now has 32 saves on the campaign. The hurler now has 367 saves for his career and 820 ⅓ innings pitched he has fanned an astronomical 1,329 batters.

Raisel Iglesias notched his 28th save of the season after pitching a scoreless inning in which he fanned a batter during Atlanta’s 3-2 win over the Nationals. The right-hander from the Isle of Youth now sports a 1.88 ERA after the All-Star break and is two saves for his sixth 30th save season for his career.

Nolan Arenado went yard for the 11th time on the season, a solo-shot in the seventh inning to do his part in the Cardinals’ 9-8 win over the Giants. The infielder has now swatted 352 homeruns for his career.

José Iglesias homered for the second day in a row and the fourth time on the season. The utilityman, who has been a key reserve for the Padres saw his average rise to .232 and now driven in 34 runs on the campaign.
