Carlos Rodón is solid in a Yankees’ win. (+Cuban MLB Report)

Carlos Rodón notched his 18th win of the season after tossing six innings of four-hit three-run ball during the Yankees 5-3 victory over the White Sox. The Cuban-American lefty also fanned five to reach 200 for the campaign  and now also sports a 3.09 earned run average for the year.

Andy Pagés homered for the second day in a row, a solo-shot in the second inning to do his part in the Dodgers’ 8-0 blanking of the Diamondbacks. The Cuban slugger has now left the yard 27 times and hits .276 on the campaign.

Yariel Rodríguez threw ⅔ of a scoreless inning in relief to help secure a Bluejays 6-1 win over the Boston Red Sox. The right-hander from Camagüey, Cuba no has three wins and saw his ERA descend to an even 3.00 on the season.
