Adolis García homers in a Rangers’ loss. (+Cuban MLB Report)

Adolis García swatted his 19th longball of the season and also scored on an occasion,  but Texas still fell to Cleveland 3-2. The slugger saw his average rise to .227 and has now driven in 75 runs on the campaign.

Nolan Arenado went yard for the 12th time on the season, a two-run fourth inning shot during the Cardinals’ 7-3 loss to their arch rival Chicago Cubs. The Cuban- American third baseman has now homered 353 times on his career on the grand stage.

Sal Stewart Jr deposited his fifth ball in the seats on the season, drove in two runs and also scored twice to lead the Reds to a 7-4 win over the Brewers and put them on the cusp of a playoff berth. The native of Miami now hits .255 on the season.
