Ariel Miranda is dominant in an Obregón victory. (+Cuban Winter League Report)

Although he did not factor in the decision, Ariel Miranda was dominant on the mound in the Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico. The Cuban left-hander tossed five innings of five-hit, one-run ball in which he also fanned a batter during Obregón’s 3-1 win over Los Mochis. His ERA fell to 3.00 on the season.

In the LIDOM Victor Labrada collected two hits in three trips to the plate including a run-scoring ninth inning sacrifice fly during the Tigres del Licey’s 6-3 loss to the Toros del Este. The Cuban outfielder drove in his first run of the winter and now hits .188 on the campaign.

Also in the Dominican Winter League Raynel Delgado swatted a hit in three at-bats and scored a run to do his part in the Águilas Cibaeñas’ 9-8 comeback win over the Estrellas Orientales.
