Nolan Arenado debuts by going yard in a Diamondbacks win. (+Spring Training Report)

It did not take long for Nolan Arenado to make an impact with his new team, the Arizona Diamondbacks. The veteran third baseman swatted a homerun to left field in his first trip to the plate.

In total the Cuban-American infielder went two the dish twice, homering, driving in a run and also scoring on an occasion to do his part in the Dbacks 3-2 win over the Colorado Rockies.

Lázaro Montes made his spring debut collecting a hit in three at-bats in Mariners’ 7-4 victory over the Padres. The Mariners #2 prospect also fanned in a previous trip to the plate and leaves his first spring game with a .333 batting average.

Noah Cárdenas swatted two hits in as many trips to the plate, including a run-scoring fourth inning two-run double to lead the Twins in their 10-3 drubbing of the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
