Edgar Quero had a perfect day at the plate in his three trips. The catcher also drove in four runs via singles in the first and third innings to pace the White Sox in their 11-2 victory over the Athletics. The young Cuban is now hitting a perfect 1.000 on the preseason.

Sandy Gastón notched his first hold after tossing a scoreless inning in which he fanned two batters and walked two others during Washington’s 2-1 win over the Houston Astros. The right-hander leaves his first outing with a 0.00 earned run average.

Dairon Blanco swatted two hits in as many at-bats, including a double and also scored a run during the Royals 10-3 loss to the Padres. The speedy outfielder left his first spring training outing with a 1.000 batting average.

Andy Pagés collected two hits in three at-bats and drove in a run via a second inning triple during the Dodgers 13-2 thrashing of the Angels. The outfielder from Pinar del Río, Cuba also scored a run and hits .750 after his first action on the spring.
