Adolis García launched a ninth inning homerun in his only at-bat as a pinch-hitter during the Phillies’ 8-7 loss to the Chicago Cubs. The Cuban slugger has now homered for the third time on the season and also driven in six runs as well.

Adrián Del Castillo laced a double in the first inning of Arizona’s 4-1 loss to the Chicago White Sox. The Cuban-American catcher has now driven in 10 runs and now hits a solid .262 on the season. The slugger has also doubled three times on the campaign.

Miguel Vargas did his part for the victorious White Sox on the day by knocking in a run in four trips to the plate via a third inning single to see his rise to .195 on the season. The infielder is now slashing a solid. 336/.425/.761 on the year.

Luis Robert Jr swatted a run-scoring second inning double during the New York Mets’ 10-8 win in a shootout with the Minnesota Twins. The speedy outfielder has now knocked in eight runs and hits .231 on the campaign for the team from Gotham.
