Roel Santos collected three hits is four trips to the plate, including a sixth inning run-scoring single to account for the Conspiradores de Querétaro’s only run during their 4-1 loss to the Piratas de Campeche. The recently acquired outfielder saw his average rise to .432 on the early season.
Jimmy Yacabonis tossed a scoreless inning during the Diablos Rojos de México City’s 6-5 win over the Guerreros de Oaxaca to notch his first win of the season. The Cuban- American righty also saw his earned run average descend to 4.32 on the season in the Aztec circuit.
Maikel Serrano homered twice amongst his three hits on a perfect evening at the plate and also drove in three runs to account for all of his team’s runs in Aguascalientes 10-3 loss to the Toros de Tijuana. The Cuban slugger hits a robust .668 and has now driven in six runs in limited at-bats this season.
