Andy Pagés hits three home runs and makes history amongst Cubans in the Big Show. (+Cuban MLB Report)

During Wednesday’s action, Cubans slugger Andy Pagés enjoyed a spectacular afternoon at Daikin Park against the Houston Astros. He went 3-for-5 at the plate, launching three home runs, six RBIs, and three runs scored during the Dodgers’ 12-2 thrashing of the team from Space City.

He became the 11th Cuban-born player to hit three homers in a single MLB game, and the third Dodger to do so, following Yasiel Puig (Sept. 15, 2018) and Yasmani Grandal (July 8, 2016). The native of Pinar del Río, Cuba has now driven in 33 runs tying him for the MLB lead with CJ Abrams and Matt Olson.

Zach Neto laced a third inning run-scoring triple and also drove in a run via a sacrifice fly in two at-bats, while also scoring a run to do his part in the Angels 8-2 win over the Chicago White Sox. The Cuban-American shortstop has now knocked in 18 runs watched his average rise to .221 om the campaign.

Adolis García swatted his fourth homerun of the season, a solo-shot in the sixth inning during the Phillies 6-3 victory over the Athletics. The outfielder also scored twice on the day and saw his OPS rise to a decent .707 on the season and hits a solid .296 over his last seven games.
