Yandy Díaz went downtown for the eighth time on the season, a solo-shot in the sixth inning and also drove in a run via a first inning double to lead the Rays to a 4-1 win over the Orioles. The Cuban slugger is hitting a torrid .379 over his last seven games and has also now driven in 33 runs on the campaign.

Adrián Morejón tossed a scoreless inning in which he fanned a batter during the Padres’ 5-4 loss to the Dodgers. The left-hander has a 2.60 earned run average over his last 15 games and has struck out 29 batters over 24 innings on the season.
