Noel González will with Italy in the Haarlem Baseball Week.

Holguín,Cuba native Noel González will once again wear the colors of the Italian National Team in international competition after being included on the 26-man roster that will compete in Haarlem Baseball Week in the Netherlands. The tournament is scheduled to take place from June 26 through July 4.

The players selected to the roster will join the Italian national team training camp following the Italian Serie A Gold All-Star Game, which will be held on June 23 in Reggio Emilia. That contest will feature teams representing Groups A and B of Italy’s top baseball league.

Noel González ties up the game with an RBI single vs France.

Italy’s squad for the Dutch tournament will be managed by former MLB player Francisco Cervelli. The round-robin schedule includes games against the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, an International Team, Curaçao, and Chinese Taipei, in that order. The tournament will then move on to the semifinals and championship game.

For González, this will be his second appearance at Haarlem Baseball Week. He previously represented Italy in the 2022 edition, where the team finished in last place among five participants. During that tournament, Italy faced the Cuban representative team of the time, the Alazanes de Granma, managed by Carlos Martí.

The Cuban infielder has also represented Italy at the 2021 European Baseball Championship, where the team won the bronze medal, and at the 2025 European Championship, co-hosted by Belgium, Italy, and the Netherlands, where Italy finished as runner-up.
