Guillermo Heredia Hit His 58th Career KBO Home Run

Heredia launched a 395-foot home run to left field, tying the game at two runs apiece. The score would remain unchanged for the rest of the contest, making it the game’s final tally. He came up again in the seventh inning but was retired on a ground ball to third base.

The game went into extra innings, and the 2021 World Series champion with the Atlanta Braves stepped to the plate once more to lead off the tenth inning. Facing reliever Kim Won-jung, Heredia was retired on a fly ball to right field in his final at-bat of the day.

Through 68 games this season, Heredia is batting .273 (73-for-267) with 35 runs scored and 53 RBIs, just one shy of matching his entire RBI total from the 2025 campaign. His extra-base hit production includes eight doubles and 12 home runs, also only one short of equaling his home run total from last season.
