Jorge Soler cranked a two-run homerun in the bottom of the first inning to start of the festivities in the Angels 7-6 win over the Baltimore Orioles, it was his only hit in three at-bats on the day. The Cuban slugger has now gone downtown 11 times and has knocked in 37 runs on the campaign.
For the Orioles Yennier Cano also saw action on Tuesday in the latest Major League Baseball slate. The Cuban right-hander struck out two batters and recorded his seventh hold of the season. Cano now sports a nifty 2.03 earned run average on the year and has fanned 27 hitters on the campaign.
Lourdes Gurriel Jr. went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a double on the day during Arizona’s 9-4 thrashingof the Cardinals. Gurriel Jr who’s bat is starting to wake up after an injury plagued start to the season is now batting .223, has knocked in 16 runs and has laced six doubles during the 2026 MLB season.
Yandy Díaz turned in a 4-for-5 performance at the plate with a run batted in and a run scored during Tampa Bay’s 5-3 victory over the Royals.With the RBI, the Cuban slugger increased his season total to 51. Diaz now has three games with at least four hits on the season and leads the American League with a .332 average.
