Miguel Vargas went yard for the 17th time on the campaign, a solo-shot in sixth inning over four at-bats to account for one of the two runs making it the deciding hit in the White Sox’s 2-1 win over Cleveland. The native of Havana now hits .237 and has now driven in 46 runs on the season.

Andy Pagés swatted three hits in five trips to the plate including a run-scoring ninth inning single to do his part in the Dodgers 12-3 drubbing of the Minnesota Twins. The outfielder broke a slump that saw him hitting .212 over his last 15 games and upped his National League RBI lead to 58 on the season.
