Eight Cubans selected to the MLB All-Star Game.

Plenty of Cubans will see action in 2026 All-Star game in Philadelphia. Andy Pagés headlines the three Cuban players selected to the National League All-Star Team. Pagés has had an outstanding season slashing .269/.330/.474/.804 and is tied for the National League lead with 63 runs batted in. Pagés is also a plus defender and has 16 DRS, 10 assists and 6 OAA.

Sal Stewart is the leading candidate for Rookie of the Year in the National League and leads all rookies with 60 runs batted, while he has also gone yard 17 times and sports a sparkling .463 slugging percentage. Stewart is a key piece of the Cincinnati Reds lineup.

While Yordan Álvarez, who is the headliner of this group leads the five Cuban players selected to the American League All-Star Team. The Cuban slugger leads the American League in homeruns (29), runs batted in (67), slugging (.645), OBP (.433) and OPS (1.078). Without a doubt Álvarez is the leading candidate for the AL MVP.

Miguel Vargas is having a career year with 20 longballs and 56 RBIs at the All-Star break. The young slugger from Havana has come into his own and has a .357/.481/.848 slash line on the season. Vargas is the leader of a young up-and-coming team on the Southside of Chicago.

Raisel Iglesias and Aroldis Chapman have saved 17 games apiece in the AL and NL respectively. Iglesias is perfect in save situations in 2026, while Chapman eclipsed the strikeout record for relievers all-time in the major. Randy Arozarena with his  (.287/.376/.453/.829) slash line, nine homeruns, 41 runs batted in and 19 stolen bases paint a picture of a very complete season.
