Raisel Iglesias tossed a scoreless inning during which he allowed two hits and fanned two batters to notch his 21st save of the season during Atlanta’s 6-5 win over San Diego. The right-hander from the Isle of Youth saw his earned run average descend to 2.59 on the campaign.

Yandy Díaz knocked in a run via a third inning single in four trips to the plate to account for Tampa Bay’s only run during the team’s 3-1 loss to the Toronto Bluejays. The Cuban slugger has driven in 61 runs and hits .307 on the season.

Nolan Arenado laced two run-scoring singles in as many trips to the during the eighth and ninth innings to lead the Arizona Diamondbacks to a 10-6 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cuban-American third baseman is now hitting a scorching .348 over his last seven games.
