Yandy Díaz swatted three hits in four at-bats, while also driving in two runs via a first inning solo-homerun and sacrifice fly in the eighth inning to do his part in Tampa Bay’s 10-6 win over the Athletics. The Cuban slugger saw his average rise to .302 on the season.

Nolan Arenado collected two hits in four trips to the plate including a first inning grand slam during the Arizona Diamondbacks 9-0 blanking of the Colorado Rockies. The Cuban-American third baseman has now gone yard for the 18th time on the campaign and is also homered three times in his last seven games.

Adrián Morejón tossed a scoreless inning during which he fanned a batter to notch his 19th hold of the season to help secure the San Diego Padres’ 3-2 win over the San Diego Padres. Morejón has now not allowed a run over his 11⅓ innings and saw his earned run average descend to 2.84 on the season.
