Nick Fortes went yard for the sixth time on the campaign, a second inning solo-shot during the Tampa Bay Rays 2-0 blanking of the Philadelphia Phillies. The native of Miami saw his average fall to .262 and has now driven in 35 runs on the season in only 294 at-bats.
Zach Neto knocked in two runs via a seventh homerun and a ninth inning double to lead the Los Angeles Angels to a 7-5 win over the Seattle Mariners. The Cuban-American shortstop has now homered 27 times and swatted 31 doubles on the year.
In a loss Randy Arozarena collected two hits in five trips to the plate including a run-scoring triple in the ninth inning. The outfielder hits .280 has now driven 77 runs on the campaign. Arozarena has put together a career year in 2026 has now laced two triples this season.
