Adolis García’s legendary night leads the Rangers to a victory (+Cuban MLB Report)

Adolis García had a perfect night and possibly the best one of his career. The slugger not only collected five hits in as many at-bats, but also went yard three times and drove in eight runs to pace Texas to a 18-3 drubbing of the Oakland Athletics. The native of Ciego de Ávila, Cuba now leads MLB in RBIs (28) and third in longballs (7). In his last seven games García is hitting a robust .333.

Randy Arozarena continues to have an amazing season, tonight the ultra-talented Cuban connected on his fifth homerun of the campaign and drove all four of Tampa’s run in their 4-3 victory over the Whitesox. Arozarena and 22 RBIs place him third in the majors in that category. Yandy Díaz also helped the cause with three hits and two runs scored.

Nick Castellanos went yard two times, double and drove in two runs in his four trips to the plate. The Cuban-American outfielder was the big bat in Philly’s 4-3 triumph over Colorado. The native of Miami is hitting .357 in his last seven games and has also driven in five runs over that span.
