Guillermo Heredia continues to massacre pitching in the KBO. This morning the Cuban outfielder swatted two hits and drove in a run to be the catalyst of SSG’s 3-1 victory over Kiwoom.

Heredia is now fourth amongst hitters in the league with a .369 average and he is also third in the Korean circuit with 24 runs batted in on the season.

Yoan López threw two innings where gave up three hits, no earned runs and struck out two in Yomiuri’s minor league team’s loss to Yakult’s second team 6-3. In nine innings pitched this season the right-hander from the Isle of Youth sports a 5.00 earned run average and has struck out seven batters.

Pedro Revilla on the other hand continues to struggle in the minors with Chunichi. The young slugger from Guantánamo, Cuba went 0-for-4 on the day in Chunichi’s 1-0 win over SoftBank. Although he is hitting a paltry .192 on the season Revilla has driven nine runs.
