Randy Arozarena went yard for the tenth time on the season and drove in a run, but his best efforts could not save the Rays from a 6-5 loss to the Yankees. The outfielder from Pinar del Río, Cuba is now fourth in the majors with 32 runs batted in on the campaign.
Nolan Arenado swatted his fourth homerun of the season between his four hits and knocked two runs to lead the Cardinals to a 8-6 win over Boston. The Cuban-American third baseman is hitting a solid .281 in his last seven games.
Yordan Álvarez left the yard for the ninth time on the season and also brought a run home to do his part in Houston’s 5-1 triumph over Chicago. Álvarez who’s 35 RBIs place him second in MLB in that category. For the Whitesox Luis Robert accounted for the team’s only via a longball in second inning, his ninth on the season.
