Adolis García had a perfect night at the plate collecting a hit in all four of his trips to the plate and drove in a run via his 15th longball of the season. The outfielder also scored on an occasion and is now second in the majors with 52 runs batted in on the season. Texas downed St. Louis 6-4 in the contest.

Nolan Arenado launched his 11th homerun of the year and drove in two runs for the Cardinals in defeat and now hits .263 on the season to go along with 41 RBIs.

Raisel Iglesias tossed a scoreless ninth inning where he fanned a batter to notch his eighth save of the season in Atlanta’s 6-4 win over the Mets. The native of the Isle of Youth has not allowed a run in his last 9 ⅓ innings pitched and watched his ERA fall to 2.84 on the campaign.

J.D. Martínez went yard for the 15th time on the season, knocked in two runs and also scored on another occasion, but the Cuban-American slugger s efforts could not save the Dodgers from a 9-8 defeat to the Reds. Martínez who now has 43 runs batted in on the season has also now homered in six of his last eight games and is also hitting .277 on the year.
