Yadir Drake goes yard and drives in four in Yucatán’s win. (+Mexican League Report)

Yadir Drake swatted his fifth longball of the season to go along with three RBIs in Yucatán’s 6-0 blanking of Puebla. The slugger from Matanzas, Cuba is now hitting .336 and has also knocked in 50 runs on the campaign. His teammate and countrymen Lázaro Alonso also aided the cause with a double and a run scored in three trips to the plate.

Roel Santos had a perfect evening to be the catalyst in Tabasco’s 8-1 win over Quintana Roo. The fleet footed outfielder also drove in a run and scored on two occasions to watch his average soar to a solid .312 on the year. Santos has continued his solid hitting that stretched through the Central American Games.

Yadiel Hernández continues to show why he is the starting left fielder for Monterrey. Last night the outfielder collected two hit in for at-bats and drove in a run in the Sultanes 7-3 victory over Dos Laredos. Hernández hits .299 on the season.
