The native of Mayabeque,Cuba can throw over 90 miles per hour and according to Romero the hurler has an MLB physique. This could lead to the a pitcher impressing scouts solely based on that at his future showcases. Lemay joins a large group of pitchers from the Mayabeque team who have left the country so far this year. They are the talented Marlon Vega, Yulián Quintana and Roger Bolaños, brother of the pitcher for Cuba in the World Classic, Ronald Bolaños.
The right-hander’s only objective for flight is if he does not latch on with a professional club, he sign somewhere else, preferably a team in the Liga Mexicana de Béisbol or other professional leagues worldwide.
