Luis Robert homered twice and drove in three runs, all while scoring twice to lead the White Sox in their 14-1 thrashing of the Cincinnati Reds. The outfielder from Guantánamo, Cuba watched his average rise to .231 on and now has also driven three runs on the spring.
Yordan Álvarez collected two hits in three trips to the plate, drove in two run and also scored on two occasions to do his part in the Astros’ 9-1 rout of the Marlins. The Cuban slugger is hitting .381 and has now driven in four runs on the spring.
For the fish Vladimir Gutierrez is making a good case for a relief role in the team’s pitching corps. The right-hander tossed 1 ⅓ scoreless innings in relief where he fanned a batter and has yet to allow a run during the preseason.

Randy Arozarena went yard for the first time on the spring, knocked in a run and scored on another, but Tampa fell to Baltimore 12-8. The outfielder who has been struggling at the plate this spring seems to be finding his swing at the right time.
Coco Montes cranked a two-run homerun in the bottom of the second to do his part in Colorado’s 4-2 win over the Kansas City Royals. Montes who is fighting for a roster spot is now hitting a miniscule .235 on the preseason. The infielder will more than likely start the season at Triple-A with the Rockies.
