Andy Ibáñez had a perfect day at the plate collecting four hits in as many at-bats and knocked in four runs via a first inning solo-shot and a second inning three-run blast to lead Detroit to a 11-7 win over Cleveland. The Cuban infielder also scored four times on the day and now hits a robust .364 on the season.

Randy Arozarena went yard for the third time in four days and drove in two runs, while also scoring on an occasion to do his part in Tampa’s 5-1 victory over the White Sox. The outfielder now has six longballs on the season and upped his RBI total to 13. Arozarena broke a slump that saw him hitting .167 over his last seven games.

After tossing a scoreless ninth inning in which he fanned a batter, Raisel Iglesias notched save number 199 of his career in Atlanta’s 4-2 triumph over the Boston Red Sox. The right-hander from the Isle of Youth also watched his ERA descend to 1.88 on the season. With his next save Iglesias would become on the second Cuban hurler to reach that plateau.
