Bryan Ramos collected two hits in four trips to the plate, while also driving in a run and scoring on an occasion to lead the Chicago White Sox to a 5-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays. The third baseman has been a pleasant surprise for the squad from the Southside of Chicago hitting .357 in his brief time with the ballclub.
Yennier Cano notched ninth hold of the season after hurling ⅔ of a scoreless inning in which he gave a hit in Baltimore’s 7-6 win over Washington in extra-innings. The right-hander now sports a 2.00 earned run average on the season.

Aroldis Chapman tossed a scoreless inning in relief in Pittsburgh’s 5-4 loss to the Angels. The left-hander from Holguín, Cuba also fanned two and walked one to see his ERA descend to 4.50 on the campaign. The hurler has struck out 22 batters in 12IP on the season.
