Yunesky Maya tossed five innings of five-hit, two-run ball and struck out two to notch his second win of the season in Campeche’s 8-3 win over Puebla. The veteran right-hander saw his ERA fall to 6.09 on the season. Maya has now eight career games in four campaigns in the Liga Mexicana de Béisbol.
Yurisbel Gracial homered for the second game in a row and knocked in a run amongst his two hits on the night in five trips to the plate. The Conspiradores de Querétaro fell to Oaxaca 4-3 and the outfielder raised to average to .331 on the season to go along with nine longballs.
Jimmy Yacabonis pitched a scoreless inning and two-thirds in relief to secure his second victory of the season and México City downed Quintana Roo 3-1. The righty also fanned a batter and his earned run average fell to 3.93.
