Odrisamer Despaigne is masterful, but Yucatán falls to Tijuana. (+Mexican League Report)

Odrisamer Despaigne was masterful tossing six innings of four-hit, one-run ball in Yucatán’s 6-4 loss to Tijuana. The Cuban right-hander also fanned 10, but the Leones bullpen blew a 3-1 lead for the hurler and his ERA descended to 3.86 on the season.

Henry Urrutia swatted three hits in four trips to the plate, knocked in a run and also scored a run in 9-3 loss to México City. The native of Las Tunas, Cuba is now very quietly hitting a robust .351 on the season to go along with 21 RBIs.
