Liván Moinelo earned his tenth victory of the campaign after allowing one run and 3 hits in 6 solid innings during the SoftBank Hawks’ 3-1 victory over the Orix Buffaloes at the Pay Pay Dome in Fukuoka.

The left-hander from Pinar del Río, Cuba who became the first Cuban starter to win 10 games since his countrymen Onelki García accomplished the feat in 2018. His ERA descended to 1.64 on the season leaving him the leader in that category in the Pacific League.

Raidel Martínez reached 35 saves after tossing a scoreless inning in a relief in the Chunichi Dragons’ 2-1 victory over the Hiroshima Carps at the Vantelin Dome in Nagoya. The right-hander who is also from Pinar del Río,Cuba also struck out two opponents and lowered his ERA to 1.10 on the campaign.
