Nick Castellanos blasted a third inning three-run homer, his 18th on the year to lead the Phillies in their 5-0 blanking of the Astros. The Cuban-American outfielder is hitting .305 over his last 15 games and has also driven in 13 runs over that span.
Raisel Iglesias notched his fourth win of the season after tossing 1⅓ scoreless innings in which he fanned two of the four batters he faced during Atlanta’s 8-6 win over the Twins. The right-hander has now not allowed a run during his last 15 outings.
