The Cuban-American righty also fanned three and saw his ERA descend to 4.68 on the campaign. After a rough first start the hurler has only allowed three earned runs in his last 11⅔ innings.
Yordan Álvarez collected a hit in three trips to the plate, a seventh inning run-scoring single to put the exclamation point on the Astros’ 8-5 victory over Detroit. The Cuban slugger has driven in 17 runs on the season and has a .345 OBP over his last seven games.
