Odrisamer Despaigne tossed six scoreless inning in which only allowed two hits and struck out five during Ciudad Obregón’s 6-4 win over Culiacán in the Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico. Despaigne is now tied for the league lead in wins with three and also notched his second straight quality start.
For Culiacán Julio Pablo Martínez went yard, a three-run eighth inning shot in the Tomateros’ loss. For the native of Guantánamo, Cuba it was his third homerun of the campaign in the Liga ARCO.
