The season in Korea begins this coming March 28th. The Matanzas, Cuba Guillermo Heredia native will be playing his fourth consecutive season with the SSG. In the previous three seasons, he has appeared in 354 games, batting .342 (1,389 AB; 475 H), with 78 doubles, one triple, 46 home runs, 248 RBIs, 17 stolen bases, and 98 walks.

Heredia had his contract renewed by the SSG Landers for the 2026 KBO season in January by the second most talented league in Asia. His signing, for a salary of $1.3 million. This will be Heredia’s fourth consecutive season wearing the Landers uniform.
Although he isn’t known for being a power hitter, he has managed to hit more than ten home runs in each of his three seasons in the KBO. Before joining the Korean league, Heredia also played for seven seasons in Major League Baseball for the Seattle Mariners (2016-2018), Tampa Bay Rays (2019), Pittsburgh Pirates (2020), New York Mets (2020), and Atlanta Braves (2021-2022), winning the World Series in his penultimate season in the majors. In total, he batted .231 with 27 home runs and 114 RBIs over his career in MLB.
