Nolan Arenado drives in three in a Diamondbacks win. (+Cuban MLB Report)

Nolan Arenado went yard for the fifth time on the season, a three-run third inning shot to do his part in Arizona’s 6-2 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers. The Cuban-American third baseman is now hitting .284 and has driven 17 runs on the season.

Another Cuban-American Adrián Del Castillo also got in on the act with a fourth inning homer in five at-bats for the Diamondbacks. The catcher now hits .222 on the campaign to go with 11 runs batted in. Del Castillo has now homered two times om the early season.

Nick Castellanos launched his first homerun of the season in two trips to the plate during the Padres’ 5-4 loss to the Cubs. The native of Hialeah, Florida has driven in nine runs and has also now gone yard 251 times over his stellar career.

Miguel Vargas continues his hot hitting by swatting a run-scoring single in the third inning over his four at-bats during the White Sox’s 3-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels. The Cuban infielder is hitting a solid .292 over his last seven games and has driven in 15 runs on the campaign.
