Albert Lara knocked in a run via a fifth inning double in five at-bats during Unión Laguna’s 7-4 loss to Chihuahua. The infielder has been very opportune in the minimal chances he has received this season and now hits a robust .423 on the season.
Although he did not factor in the decision Elían Leyva was splendid during Unión Laguna’s 3-2 loss to Saltillo. The right-hander tossed six innings of four-hit, two-run ball on the evening and also fanned three batters on the evening to watch his ERA descend to 4.20 on the campaign.
