Aroldis Chapman notches another save in a Red Sox victory. (+Cuban MLB Report)

Aroldis Chapman tossed a scoreless ninth inning in which he fanned a batter to secure a Boston Red Sox 5-4 victory over the Detroit Tigers. The flamethrowing left-hander notched his seventh save of the season and watched his earned average fall to a miniscule 0.77.

Nick Martínez threw five innings of three-hit, one-run ball during the Tampa Bay Rays ‘ 5-1 win over the Toronto Bluejays. The Cuban- American hurler also struck out five batters and won his third game of the season, while also watching his ERA fall to 1.71 on the campaign.

Miguel Vargas launched his seventh homerun of the season amongst his two hits in five trips to the plate during the Chicago White Sox’s 6-0 blanking of the Los Angeles Angels. The Cuban slugger saw his average rise to .228 and has now driven in 18 runs on the season.

Randy Arozarena collected two hits in three trips to the, stole a base and scored a run to do his part in the Seattle Mariners’ 5-4 triumph over the Atlanta Braves. The outfielder now hits .273 and has now stolen eight bases on the campaign.
