Raisel Iglesias returns from the IL and saves a Braves’ win. (+Cuban MLB Report)

Raisel Iglesias returned to action after coming off the IL and tossed a scoreless ninth inning in which allowed a hit and fanned two batters to secure his sixth save of the season during the Braves’ 3-2 victory over the Seattle Mariners. The right-hander has not allowed a run in 9⅔ innings pitched on the season.

Yandy Díaz collected a hit in four trips to the plate including a eighth inning run-scoring single to a game at three that the Rays eventually lost 4-3 to the Toronto Bluejays. The Cuban slugger saw his average fall to .320 and driven in 22 runs on the campaign.

Jorge Soler swatted his eighth homerun of the season, a first inning solo-shot during the Los Angeles Angels 4-3 victory over the Chicago White Sox. The Cuban slugger has now driven 27th runs on the season that places him in the lead  on his ballclub in that statistical category.

Zach Neto also got in on the act with a solo-blast of his own and a single in four at-bats to help the cause for the Angels. The Cuban-American shortstop has knocked in 16 runs on the season and broke a slump that saw him hitting .111 over his last seven games.
