Miguel Vargas collected two hits in four trips to the plate, including a fifth inning run-scoring double during the Chicago White Sox’s 10-3 loss to the San Francisco Giants. The Cuban infielder has now driven in 30 runs on the campaign.

Kendry Rojas tossed three scoreless innings in which he gave up a hit and fanned three batters during the Twins’ 4-2 win over the Boston Red Sox. The left-hander saw his earned run average descend to 1.26 on the season.

Andy Pagés knocked in a run via a fourth inning double during his four trips to the plate and also scored a run in the Dodgers’ 11-3 thrashing of the Milwaukee Brewers. The outfielder with his 43 runs batted in leads all Cubans in that statistical category.
