Yurisbel Gracial drives in four runs in a Querétaro loss. (+Mexican League Report)

Yurisbel Gracial launched a grand slam in the third inning amongst his two hits in four trips to the plate during Querétaro’s 9-8 loss to Veracruz. Although he only hits .214 Gracial has knocked five runs on the young season.

Yadir Drake swatted two homeruns and drove in all three runs for the Leones de Yucatán in their 4-3 loss to the Bravos de León. The slugger from Matanzas, Cuba now has four runs batted in and hits .250 on the season.

Although he did not factor in the decision Elían Leyva tossed four innings of three-hit, one-run ball to due his part in Durango’s 6-2 win over Chihuahua. The right-hander also fanned two batters and leaves his first start of the year with a 2.25 earned run average.
