Henry Urrutia goes yard, but Querétaro falls to Puebla. (+Mexican League Report)

Although the Conspiradores de Querétaro fell 12-11 to the Pericos de Puebla, Henry Urrutia drove in three runs via a two-run homerun in the third inning and a run-scoring single in the second inning. Urrutia is hitting a robust .643 and has now driven in four runs on the young campaign.

Yurisbel Gracial also got in on the act with three hits in five at-bats and two runs scored to help the cause. The utilityman from Matanzas, Cuba is heating up and saw his average rise to .316 on the campaign.

Félix Pérez drove in two runs in five at-bats via a double in the second inning and a groundout in the fourth inning  during the Piratas de Campeche’s 11-0 shutout of the Tigres de Quintana Roo. The Cuban slugger has now driven in six runs on the young season.
